Mission: To be a forum for education, networking, and encouragement, and to be an advocate for small business issues in our community.
The Small Business Council strives to be an advocate for small business issues in our community, and a forum for education, networking, and encouragement.
The SBC develops, delivers, and promotes seminars on topics of significance for small business owners and entrepreneurs, while also providing recognition for outstanding small businesses, including Greenwood’s Small Business Owner of the Year and U.S. Small Business Administration awards. The council also assists with networking and access to resources for small business owners, such as the SC Small Business Development Centers.
All small business owners are encouraged to participate in the Small Business Council. The SBC Steering Committee has openings for volunteers who would like to help chart the course for this council and ensure that it delivers value to its members.
