• State of the City and County Address

    The Greenwood Chamber’s Advocacy Committee held its annual State of the City & County luncheon address with elected officials Mayor Welborn Adams from the City of Greenwood and Greenwood County Council Chairman Steve Brown providing comments.  Both educated Chamber members on the proposed capital projects initiative and positive benefits if passed by the voters on Election Day, November 8th.  More than 175 members participated in the luncheon, which was presented by South State Bank.

    U.S. Congressman Jeff Duncan led the pledge of allegiance with Chamber Chair Josh Garvin.

       
    City Manager Charlie Barrineau and County Manager Toby Chappell responded to audience questions.


    Connect Lake Greenwood Steering Committee members attended the luncheon to learn more about proposed capital projects that are proposed for Lake Greenwood.


    Realtor Jan Bradshaw and her team from The Bradshaw Group were on hand to hear from city and county reports.
