Ambassadors
Visit members to discuss programs, participation, and member needs, ideas, and thoughts. Perform as the goodwill arm of the Chamber. Added benefits of this program include great networking opportunities for those involved!

Communication & Public Relations
Develop and implement marketing strategies which will enhance and further promote all of the Chamber’s programs and activities.

Governmental Relations
Monitor national, state, and local issues of importance to the business community and keep membership updated on important governmental and legislative issues.

Festival of Flowers Committees
Be a part of the main tourism event for Greenwood County! Help plan and implement future Festivals.

SC Half Triathlon Planning Team
Join the team dedicated to expanding this sporting event held the first Sunday in October at the Drummond Conference Center at Lake Greenwood State Park. This event features a 1.3 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride, and 13 mile run.

Heritage Corridor Committee
Work with area representatives on further marketing Greenwood’s place on the Corridor’s Discovery Route.

NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT

Neighborhood Association Council
The NAC takes an interest in the issues of the Greenwood County neighborhoods by creating unified voice in addressing broad-based concerns. All neighborhood, homeowner and community association members are invited to attend.

Neighborhood Development Leadership Academy
The Academy aims at empowering neighborhood association leaders to be able to organize their associations to build upon the assets of their communities. NDLA is a 6-class program, offered in the Spring of each year.

National Night Out
On the first Tuesday of August, neighborhoods throughout Greenwood are invited to join forces with thousands of communities nationwide for the Annual “National Night Out”. National Night Out is designed to send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Wellness Celebration Committees
An exciting community-wide event (held in the fall), festivities will reach out to various parts of the community to address four corners of wellness: healthcare, economic, family /spiritual and community development.

Leadership Greenwood Steering Committee
This committee consists of graduates of Leadership Greenwood.

Greenwood Partnership Initiative
Is a business education partnership which includes the leadership of Lander University, Piedmont Technical College, the three Greenwood School Districts, and major corporate employers.
