The Greenwood Chamber’s Ambassadors serve as the membership liaison committee of The Greenwood Area Chamber of Commerce. The committee’s purpose is to provide communication from the members to the staff, Membership Committee, and to the Board of Directors. The efforts of the committee are to assist with member retention and recruitment, welcome new members, attend ribbon cuttings / ground breakings, serve as greeters at Chamber functions, and work special events (like the Annual Meeting, fundraisers and trade shows). Ambassadors strive to meet and know the Greenwood Chamber’s membership, encourage members to become active in committee work, and make them feel a part of the organization. The Ambassadors represent the Chamber organization and use their professional skills when interacting with the membership.
